First impression of Turnkey-Linux Backup and Migration (TKLBAM)
Well today I activated my TKLBAM account at amazon. (Amazon S3)
Here are is my first impression of this service for all the Turnkey-Linux appliances that are NOT running in the amazon EC2 cloud.
The creation of the first backup on the amazon cloud took me 2 minutes for this site. The great thing about the turnkey amazon solution is that you only pay for what you actually use. In the case of this site the total size of the site is 121 Mb. The cost for the backup is $0,02 p/m. A full back will be performed every month and a daily incremental. So let me update you in the next couple of weeks.
Also I will post the screenshots or even a video on how I performed the update, and also I will show you how you can quickly restore a running website after a crash, or misconfiguration.
My Skills are mainly PowerShell, VMWare, Hyper-V, Microsoft System Center products and Windows Azure Pack.
I work for a company in Utrecht The Netherlands.
